This is the small initial assignment that you need to complete and submit at latest 4 April. It will give you a chance to reflect on current activities in Cyber Security and share ideas with other students on the course.
You should submit a small report. The report should be at between 300 and 600 words long and be submitted directly as text into MyMoodle.
The topic for the report are examples of Cyber Security related incidents that you yourself have either experienced or read about in the news in the last year. Focus on incidents that are somehow related to network security. Anything from a simple spam email you got to state sponsored cyber attack against a country could be covered.
To get some inspirations you can read this article: 17 Types of Cyber Attacks Commonly Used By Hackers
Do not write your name in the report text since I might share the text with the other students on the course.
The assignment is mandatory and you have to submit at latest Tuesday 4 April 23.59. Failing to do that will lead to you being unregistered from the course.
