Welcome to the Media and Entrepreneurship Programme!

Congratulations! You've been accepted to the Media and Entrepreneurship Programme (180p) at Linnaeus University.

We're thrilled to have you joining us. Here's what you need to know before term begins.

Introductory meeting

Mark your calendar for Monday, 31 August, at 1:00 PM. We'll gather in Room Ra2135, House Radix, in Kalmar. This is where you'll get more details about your studies, and it's also where you'll meet the people you'll be spending the next few years with.

If something comes up and you can't make it, please email the programme coordinator at the latest the day before.

Setting up as a student

Everything at LNU runs on self-registration meaning that you register yourself for each course throughout the programme. It only takes a few minutes and it's what allows you to actually begin the courses you've been admitted to. Registration opens a week before each course starts.

If you register but don't show any activity in the first three weeks, you may be automatically deregistered. You will not be notified about this so it's worth checking your registration status on the student web now and then. If it happens to you and you'd like to stay on the course, contact Christina Björnvall at christina.bjornvall@lnu.se, with the course name and your personal identity or coordination number.

Further information

Before we meet, I'd love to hear a little about you. When you have a moment, shoot an email and tell me a little about who you are. Just a short blurb about where you're from, what drew you to this programme, and what you're into when you're not thinking about media or entrepreneurship. A photo is very welcome too! Think of it as your first contribution to the community you're about to join.
