Welcome to Linnaeus University
You have applied and been accepted (given that you got a positive admission result) to 1TS030 Wood as an engineering materials (7.5 credits) at the Faculty of Technology.

Introduction
We will start with a brief course introduction on 01 September (Monday) at 13:15 in K2048 and also via Zoom. This course focuses on wood's physical and mechanical properties with a primary objective of understanding the relationship between wood structure and its behavior in practical applications. The course will be conducted in English. However, students have the option to complete their reports and final written exam in either English or Swedish.

Meetings
The laboratory work will take place in Labbhall, Building M at Linnaeus University on 23 October (Thursday) from 09:15 to 17:00.

Get a student account and register
You need a student account to register. At Lnu.se/nystudent you will find information on how to do it. Registration is required for you to begin the education you have been accepted for. 

Moodle
Moodle is the learning platform used at Linnaeus University. Here you will find the digital course room where students and teachers meet. You log in with your student account, see above.

Technical equipment
You need a computer and a USB headset with a built-in microphone to participate in digital meetings and presentations.
