This letter is addressed to you who
have been admitted to Forestry for Green Sustainable Development, Master
Programme (180 credits) at the Faculty of Technology, Linnaeus University. More

this letter, we want to extend a warm welcome to you and provide you with some
brief information ahead of the program's start.
Information Meeting
Firstly, we would like to invite you
for an optional digital information meeting via Zoom. During this session,
you'll have the opportunity to meet Programme Coordinator Erika Olofsson and
others involved in the program. We will inform about the courses offered in the
first semester, as well as potential study paths available to you, whether you
have 15 credits in forest science, forest management, or an equivalent
qualification.

Program Start
The autumn semester of 2024 begins
with a program start comprising roll call, presentations, and information
regarding the program and studies. The location for the program start will be

Preparations for
the start of the semester
When you have been admitted, there are a few things
you need to do before you start your studies. Among other things, you must
accept your study place, create a student account, and register. Please take

Programme
Commencement
Late
registration is not possible! If you do not register in Ladok, you will
lose your admission to the programme. Registration means that you
participate in the courses, and you cannot request a refund after registration.
First Semester
You will be taking two
half-time courses simultaneously. The courses offered in the first semester
are: 1TS016 Basic Course in Forest Management 15 credits, 4TS022 Forest
Ecosystem Services 15 credtits and 4TS021 Forest Climate Mitigation and
