During semester 5
you will write your thesis. Linnaeus University occasionally offers a Minor Fields Stipend for a field work to collect data abroad.

Study abroad during 6
P&D program students will receive all information during semester 3 and 4 in the program. You apply this semester to spend semester 6 at our partneruniversity, upon our nomination.

Int. Social sciences program students 
Students in their second year during their program will apply for a semester abroad during their 6th semester.

Traineeship during semester 6
Students within P&D and ISP bachelor programs can choose an traineeship abroad or in Sweden during semester 6, instead of studying courses. You need to find your Traineeship and have it approved by us before you start.

If you find and have an approved Traineeship in Europe, Linnaeus University will offer an application for an Erasmus Traineeship Stipend. Please find requirements and application for the stipend here https://lnu.se/en/student/international-possibilities/InternshipAbroad/

Study plan, master program in Peace and Development studies 
During this one-year program, students will find time to apply for a semester abroad, at our partner universities, with courses after your degree.

Students will also be offered the opportunity to apply for an Erasmus Traineeship Stipend after your degree. Please ask us for more information!

A majority of our partner universities on other continents, Afrika, Asien, North- and South America will offer courses in development studies, political science. All students can apply for a nomination to these universities.

These universities are uniquely for students in P&D program or O&D studies but offer courses only on bachelor level.
