When can I study abroad and how do I apply?
Your programme plan indicates your best semester option for a semester abroad
All students apply to us at Linnaeus University first. and in your application to us you can choose among partner universities which suits your field of studies. Please know that you need to apply to us in November the year before you study abroad, in order to find all our placement. You can also apply to us in February each year, but you will not find as many universities and placements.
You can apply to us during your last year and study a semester abroad after you have finished your degree or courses at Linnaeus University.
We guide you in finding your best study option in line with your degree and time suitable time.
We keep in touch during your exchange and we transfer your courses from our partner universities as a part of your degree, or as single subject courses.

- On bachelor level, we recommend your last semester for studies or a traineeship abroad. On masters level, your third semester is best suited.
- Courses at our partner universities or traineeships which are approved by us, can be transferred to Linnaeus University and included in your degree.
