Cancellation of studies

Cancellation of studies for a programme or course is registered by going to your student account at Lnu.se and proceeding to My Ladok. There you will choose whether your cancellation is intended for a programme or course. Keep in mind, when registering a programme cancellation, all your associated programme courses will be automatically canceled.

By making a formal withdrawal no later than three weeks after the start of the course or programme, you may reapply for the same programme/course at a later date via universityadmissions.se. Your application will then be processed according to the standard admissions procedure.

If you withdraw from your studies later than three weeks after the start of the course or programme, you will not be able to reapply for the same programme via universityadmissions.se. To resume your studies, you must instead be re-registered on the course or programme. Re-registration is subject to the availability of places, which is determined by the responsible faculty.

Approved leave of studies

If you want to apply for approved leave of studies you need to fill out a form that can be found at lnu.se, under Student rights and responsibilities. More information about approved leave of studies can also be found there.
