4EN013 Islands in Literature
Welcome to the course Islands in Literature at Linnaeus University. The course will run during the autumn term 2021.
Note that you will have to register on the course in order to be able to follow it. You can register online here, the registration service opens about a week before the course starts. You must register by 08:00 on 6 September. If you fail to do this, we will assume that you are no longer interested and give your place to someone on the waiting list. If you have any problems with online registration, please contact the course coordinator (see contact details at the bottom of this page).
If you decide not to take the course, after registering on it, please contact our Ladok secretary so that she can take you off the lists.
Please make sure you have access to a computer (PC or Mac) for the duration of the course. The course work cannot be completed on a tablet. All the software needed will be provided for free.
The course involves some online meetings. The link to the first meeting can be found on the courses MyMoodle page.
Remember to purchase the literature before the course begins. Please note that literature marked as reference works in the course syllabus is not compulsory.
The English department uses a course management tool called MyMoodle. Please note that you will need a student account log-in to be able to access the course material in MyMoodle. This service opens about one week before the course starts.
Please note that students who are not participating actively in the course during the first two weeks will be crossed off the register.
