Dear student,

Thank you for applying to Linguistic perspectives. This course is entirely web-based and runs over the period 31 August to 17 January.

It is important for us to know that you want to take this course now. To ensure your place on the course, please make sure you accept your place on the course via antagning.se.

In order to follow the course, you need to register, create a student account and find your way to the digital learning platform, MyMoodle, which is used in the course. The date and time for our first meeting is 1 September 2021, 15:15-17:00 in room K3207V. The dates and times of the other meetings will be discussed during the first meeting, but they will usually take place in the middle of the week.

The course involves individual work and group work between meetings. Be prepared to communicate with your group through email, Moodle, Zoom or any other means necessary. More information about the course structure and assignments will be given during the first Zoom meeting.

Please note that many of the research tasks in the course will require the use of corpus linguistic methods and you need to have access to a personal computer (PC or Mac) throughout the course; you cannot complete the work on a mobile device!

NB! If you have not shown any activity during the period 30 August to 6 September, you will be removed from the course and you will not be registered as a course participant.
