Welcome to a new semester at the School of Business and Economics!

Below you will find some practical information.

Register (one week before the start of the course and during the first week)
You should register for the course within the programme you are studying. Log in to Lnu.se/student and click Register here.
If you have trouble with the registration, it may be due to the followings:

  • You have been registered on the course before, and therefore, you should re-register when the course starts
  • You have changed programme, admission to programmes in progress
  • You had an approved leave from studies
  • You do not fulfill the prerequisites for the course
  • You have forgot to apply to spring courses via universityadmission.se
  • The registration period is closed

Contact ekonomihogskolan@lnu.se for assistance with registration.

Prerequisites information for the next semester

Under my page at universityadmission.se you will be able to see if you are eligible or not for the spring courses. If you are admitted with condition it may be because your results from the fall semester are not yet published. Note that a further assessment will be made close to course start so that grades from fall 2018 can be counted, your status in my page will be updated.

In the course syllabus, you will find the prerequisites for each course and these are the ones that you must meet to start the course.

Did you forget to reply YES on letter of acceptance? Please contact admission@lnu.se.

If you do not want to continue your studies, you register for cancelation of studies. If you would like to take a study break apply for an approved leave from studies, see Information from the School of Business and Economics for further information.

Program students in Kalmar who has been in exchange in fall 2018

If you have studied abroad in fall semester 2018, you have received an email from emmelie.hedinekholm@lnu.se where you can find out how to apply for a credit transfer and that you must have passed the eligibility requirements for your future spring courses 2019.

Program students in Växjö who has been in exchange in fall 2018

If you have studied abroad in fall semester 2018, you have received an email from andreas.poltan@lnu.se where you can find out for instance how to apply for a credit transfer. In that mail it also says that if you are conditionally admitted, you have to submit the following to ekonomihogskolan@lnu.se:

  • Transcript / transcripts / screenshot
  • Name
  • Personalnumber
  • Program and program semester Spring19

Because it may take time before the grades are ready to be credit transferred, you need to submit a screenshot or something else, informally or formally, which indicates that you have been active during the exchange and that of the equivalent 30 credits.

Exchange Studies/Elective semester within your programme

If you are going to study abroad, you should register for your exchange; log in to Lnu.se/student and choose Register here. This step is necessary to enable you to take advantage of the courses later. If you encounter problems with your registration, please contact:
Kalmar: emmelie.hedinekholm@lnu.se
Växjö: andreas.poltan@lnu.se

More information about studying abroad can be found here.

If you are studying an elective semester within your programme where there are courses owned by Linnaeus University, you should register in the same way as you would with your programme courses. If you are going to study courses in another university or single subject courses abroad, see that university’s rules for registration, as you will not register for any programme semester here at Linnaeus University.

During Spring 2019 you need to apply for Fall programme courses 2019

From March 15th you can start to apply for your fall programme courses in advance, the same way you applied for the spring programme courses during the fall semester. More information about which courses you should apply for will be published under News in your MyMoodle programme room.
