13. Insurance

All students are covered by a collective insurance that LNU signed with Kammarkollegiet. As soon as you register as a student in Ladok on LNU's website, the insurance kicks in started. This insurance covers accidents during school hours plus while travelling to and from the university.

There are diferences depending on if you are an exchange student, an EU/EES student or a a fee paying student.

If you need a certificate of the insurance, you can contact internationalstudents@lnu.se 

If you are a fee paying student you are covered by an insurance called FAS 2021 (covers disability and death benefits, medical and dental care, home transport, third party liability, legal expenses etc).
