Welcome to the course in Field work and data analysis!
This course is mostly project based.
The goals with the course are to learn
-to plan a project/sampling that includes determination of chemical and physical variables in environmental media (e.g. soil, sediment, rock, water or vegetation) that has been collected in the field.
-perform sampling of one or more of such environmental media.
-prepare and analyze environmental media in the laboratory
-statistical handling and interpretation of the analytical data.
The specific project of this course is sampling and analysis of sediments in the harbour of Kalmar.
